After an estimated 14,000 hours on intense rehearsals, the Smithills Schools Senior Bands said goodbye to their old bandroom on the Easter weekend.

MD, Chris Wormald led the Senior Band through one final rehearsal at the venue they have called home for the past 22 years, before making the move to a brand new £100,000 music suite and recording studio.

The new Smithills Music Suite was appropriately opened with a rehearsal a couple of days before the final move to ensure everything was spot on for the school’s multiple award winning bands.
