2012 IBBC line up confirmed

Ambitious international Belgian event confirms line up of bands for 8,000 Euro top prize.

The confirmed line up of competing bands for the ambitious International Brass Band Contest to be held in Belgium later this year has been announced by the organisers.

The event is due to take place at the Lemmensinstituut of Leuven in Belgium in November, and has attracted an international field, headed by former European champion Manger Musikklag.

Euro challengers

Also competing are Noord-Limburgse fresh from claiming second place at this year’s European Championship in Rotterdam, whilst the organisers are hoping to get final confirmation on the participation of former Yorkshire Area and All England Masters Champion Rothwell Temperance.

The three day event will see bands from Belgium, Norway, England and Wales compete for a first prize of 8,000 Euros.
