Boobs & Brass raise the Whit Friday cash

The great girls of Boobs & Brass keep the cash coming in for Breast Cancer with the help of a salty old sailor...

Boobs and Brass

The girls from Boobs & Brass enjoyed a wonderful time of it at the recent Whit Friday contests – and also enjoyed some brilliant financial support from the crowds too as they continued to raise funds to be donated to the Breast Cancer Campaign in Wiltshire.

Thanks

Maggie Betts told 4BR: "We would like to thank everyone who supported us at Whit Friday. Thankfully there was no running mascara and ruined hair do’s this year as the weather was perfect as we marched the streets."

She added: "There were so many smiles on faces that at times it was impossible to play our march, ‘All the Nice Girls love a Sailor’ accompanied by our very own sailor playing bass drum. I have to say he was a very brave young man!"

Amazing amount raised

Maggie revealed that not only did the band receive many kind words of encouragement and support but also an amazing amount of £465.13 in donations for the charity Breast Cancer Campaign.
