Eight judges for IBBC

Eight man adjudication panel set for IBBC event in Belgium.

The organisers of the International Brass Band Contest (IBBC) to be held at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven on the weekend of the 9th-11th November have announced its line up of adjudicators.

Eight man

The eight man panel will consist of Philip Sparke, Andrew Warriner, Gavin Pritchard, Gareth Pritchard, and Ray Farr from the UK, as well as Manu Mallaerts and Benny Wiame from Belgium and Jacob Dijkstra from the Netherlands.

The Championship Section contest will see nine bands battle it out for a first prize of 8,000 Euros4BR

Nine bands

The Championship Section contest will see nine bands battle it out for a first prize of 8,000 Euros, whilst former European champions Manger Musikklag and local favourites Noord-Limburgse Brass Band will perform as the featured bands at the official opening concert.

The Gala Concert on the Saturday evening will feature double Champion Band of Great Britain, Brighouse & Rastrick, whilst the final concert on the Sunday will be headed by Oslo Brass Band.
