Elland strengthen line up for Cheltenham

New signings for Yorkshire contender ahead of Cheltenham challenge.

Elland Silver Band has completed its line up for the forthcoming Third Section National Finals in Cheltenham.

Welcome

Musical Director James Shepherd welcomes Joe Silson Lauren Rosborough and Andrew Straiton on percussion, Jason Fox on 3rd cornet, John Horsfield on bass trombone and Alex Cockburn on Bb bass. Phil Varley makes a welcome return to strengthen the cornet section.

As part of the preparation, the band will hold a free open rehearsal on Thursday 20th September at 8.00pm at All Saints Church Savile Road Elland, where special guests will be the Mayor and Mayoress of Calderdale, Mr & Mrs John Hardy, who will offering their support.
