Shepherd add to their Cheltenham flock

North of England challengers add a few extra numbers to their flock of players ahead of Cheltenham.

North of England First Section champion Shepherd Group Band has strengthened it's line up ahead of the forthcoming National Finals in Cheltenham.

Welcome

MD Richard Wilton welcomes Tom Wilson on Bb Bass, Natalie Edwards on Percussion and Katie Wannop on cornet, whilst Kate Harper moves from cornet to percussion.

Evening event

As part of their preparation, the band will take part in a pre-National Finals evening to be held at the National Coal Mining Museum on Saturday September 15th at 7.00pm where the band will perform Tom Davoren's test piece 'Vivat!'.
