A new entertainment contest is to be held at Disneyland Paris next year following the announcement of ‘The Magic of Disney at the Euro Brass Festival and Championships 2013’.

Working in association with Yorkshire based brass music promoters Mode for... and the magical event company Take Us 2 The Magic Ltd, organisers hope to attract bands from across the world to the event which will take place on the weekend of 12th and 13th October 2013 in Disneyland Paris.

They state that the main championships and massed band performances, including parades through Disneyland and exciting shows are open to all bands, whilst opportunity to enjoy the magic of Disney and give individual performances are also available.

The inaugural Championships will see bands compete with a 20 minute Disney themed entertainment programme (subject to rules and guidelines) before joining forces in a massed ‘Whit Friday’ style march through the heart of Disneyland Paris in one of its famous pre-parades.
