Towcester Studio Band has announced the appointment of Kevin Steward as their new Musical Director.

Wealth of experience

Band Chairman Richard Kilby told 4BR: "Kevin brings a wealth of playing and conducting experience to Towcester. Together with a real sense of energy and enthusiasm the band will benefit greatly and I see this appointment as a very positive and exciting step in returning Towcester to the top flight of banding in the Midlands and beyond."

The former Desford player and conductor of the highly successful Desford Youth Band, also enjoyed considerable success with the likes of Snibston and Ratby as well as enjoying a spell teaching in Singapore.
