Bousfield to lead Brass Day

International trombone virtuoso Ian Bousfield will lead the Brass Day 2013 at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland this weekend.

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland will be hosting its Brass Day 2013 on Sunday 13th January.

Top trio

A full day of events will begin at 12 noon, and will feature masterclasses by the renowned Conservatoire Brass, International Fellow Ian Bousfield and Principal John Wallace CBE.

John Webb will be showing his collection of historic instruments.

Concert

The day will culminate at 5.30 pm with a Gala Concert featuring Ian Bousfield, the Royal Conservatoire Brass, Carnoustie & District Youth Band, West Lothian Schools Band and Hawick Schools Youth Band.
