Following on from their promotion to the First Section this year and their recent success at the Brass at the Guild contest in Preston last month, Flixton Band has made a number of signings to strengthen the ranks for its challenge in the Area contest in Blackpool on the weekend.

New players

Clint Miller comes in on soprano from Wingates with Ben Fisher on BBb Bass from Tyldesley. Music student James Harris joins on second baritone with Lesley Hardman and her son Ben coming in on percussion.
