Judges announced for Europeans

The panel of judges that will decide the destination of the European title has been announced by EBBA.

The international panel of judges to be used at the forthcoming European Brass Band Championships in Oslo has been announced by EBBA.

Two days

The Championship Section title will be decided over two days by a set work panel of Preben Norgaard Christensen of Norway, Phillip McCann (UK) and Ivan Meylemans (Belgium), whilst the own choice selections come under the scrutiny of Garry Cutt (UK), Arsene Duc (Switzerland) and Cathrine Winnes Trevino (Norway).

Conductors

Meanwhile, the Conductor’s Competition will be judged by Bjorn Sagstad (Norway), Hans Urbanek (Switzerland) and Fried Dobbestein in the First Round, with Peter Szilvay replacing Bjorn Sagstad for the Second and Third Rounds.

The finalists will have to impress Peter Szilvay, Hans Urbanek, Fried Doestein, Ivan Melylemans and Robert Childs.
