Curtin call for Dyke euph star

Gary Curtin will return to Ireland to lead a weekend of workshops.

The Irish Association of Brass and Concert Bands will be welcoming back one of its most famous banding sons later this month.

Black Dyke principal euphonium Gary Curtin returns to Ireland to hold a workshop on Saturday 25th May and Sunday 26th May, which is aimed for all brass players of any standard.

All the basics

There will also be a Junior Brass Workshop held on Sunday morning for young brass players and will look at all the basics of playing a brass instrument.

Welcome back

IABCB General Secretary Stephen Murray told 4BR: "We are very excited to welcome Gary back to Ireland to lead this workshop.

He has really made a name for himself since moving to the UK. This is a terrific opportunity for brass player’s right across Ireland to meet and work with one of the UK's top euphonium players."
