If you want to take part in a great contest weekend then you need to act quick or you will miss out...

wychavon festival of brass

The organisers of the Wychavon Festival of Brass are requesting that bands get in contact as soon as possible if they want to ensure they secure a place in this year’s contest line up.

New venue

The immensely popular even takes place on the weekend of the 14th/15th September at Evesham’s All Saints Church and a new venue at Wallace House.

The First and Second Sections will be held on Saturday September 14th at All Saints Church, whilst 24 hours later the Third and Fourth Section competitors will battle it out at Wallace House.

The Championship Section takes place in All Saints Church the same afternoon.

Generous

As always there is a very generous prize fund, with the top section winners picking up £1,500 for their efforts, down to the Fourth Section champions heading home with £500.

Places are limited to ten bands in each section, so if you are interested you had better get your application in as soon as possible. The closing date is July 20th.

Steak & Pie

The contest also takes place during this year’s wonderful Steak & Pie Festival, held on the Saturday in Evesham Town centre – so hungry players and supporters can get a championship winning bellyful of top notch grub too!

Places are limited to ten bands in each section, so if you are interested you had better get your application in as soon as possible4br
