Torquay contest deadline looms

Bands wishing to take part in the SWBBA Contest in Torquay in November only have another 2 weeks to get their entries in.

Bands intending to enter the South West Brass Band Association's 67th Annual Championships to be held on Saturday 2nd November at the Riviera International Conference Centre, Torquay, have another fortnight to get their entry to the Association's Secretary. The closing date is 13th September.

Seven sections

The Championships is open to all bands, with seven sections to choose from — Open (joint Championship/First); Second, Third, Fourth, Ungraded, Youth and Training Band, with 2013 national grading being applied. The appointed adjudicators are Jim Davies and Derek Renshaw.
