Butlins entries coming in

There has been a fine response so far for entries to the 2014 Butlins Mineworkers Championship — but more can be accommodated.

Butlins

4BR has been informed by Butlins Mineworkers Championship contest controller Brian Eggleshaw that as the closing date approaches, entries for the 2014 event are coming in well, although he states that there is still room in the Second, Third and Fourth Sections.

Youth and Ensemble

Entries have also been sent out to a number of Youth and Ensemble groups which are held on his existing data base, although he is hoping that others will contact him to enter the innovative event.

We would love to see as many youth and ensembles groups enter and I would draw people’s attention to the fact that they can enter with adult helpBrian Eggleshaw

Fine response

He told 4BR: "It’s been a fine response so far, but we still have room to accept more bands. We would love to see as many youth and ensembles groups enter and I would draw people’s attention to the fact that they can enter with adult help. If anyone needs to find out more, please get in touch."
