National Youth Bands of Scotland Summer Course announced

Scottish Brass Band Association announce dates for its 2014 National Youth Band courses.

The Scottish Brass Band Association has announced the dates for its 2014 Summer Courses for the National Youth Brass Bands of Scotland.

Dates

The premier band of the organisation, NYBBS (for players aged 16-22 who complete a successful audition) will meet on Sunday 27th July with their course running until Sunday 3rd August.

The National Youth Reserve Brass Band of Scotland (for all players aged 14-22, no entry audition required) and National Children’s Brass Band of Scotland (for all players aged 9-13, no entry audition required) will meet a day later on Monday 28th July with courses also concluding on Sunday 3rd August.

Finalised

At present venue details are being finalised and information on these, together with course application forms will be widely circulated, including the NYBBS and SBBA websites ( www.nybbs.co.uk / www.sbba.org.uk) as soon as the details are available.

March 23 • Our COMMUNITY BAND are meeting again on Monday (30th) at 11am and we welcome players of all abilities to join us in a friendly relaxed rehearsal.. It does not affect your main band and is all free including the cake and coffee.
