Welsh League to return to Cyfarthfa home

The South East Wales Brass Band Association has announced that it will be holding its Spring Welsh League contest at a new venue.

Historic home

The SEWBBA own choice contest will be held at the Rhyd-y-Car Leisure Centre, Merthyr Tydfil, on Saturday 17th May, and it will be the first time a contest has been held in Merthyr Tydfil, the historic home of the great Cyfarthfa Band, for many years.

The event will be organised in accordance with the joint SEWBBA/WWBBA contesting rules and the closing date for entries is Saturday 12th April.
