Besses o’ th’ Barn Band has announced that they have mutually parted company with Musical Director Alan Wycherley.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We would like to publicly thank Alan for his work as MD with the band since September 2010, and he leaves us with some memorable concert performances.

We wish him and his family good health, and send him every best wish with his next banding project.”

The band has told 4BR that they are looking to appoint a new MD as soon as possible.
