Reach Neo heights at John Packer Ltd

Yamaha's amazing new baritone is now available at John Packer Ltd.

Yamaha Neo

Yamaha’s latest amazing ‘Neo’ baritone is now available from John Packer Ltd.

First

The Yamaha Neo YBH-831 is the first Yamaha baritone to feature a 3-valve compensating system and was developed in collaboration with world renowned baritone star, Katrina Marzella.

See it

You can see Katrina talk abut the instruments development with 4BR Editor Iwan Fox at the recent Neo launch at the European Brass Band Championships in Perth in Scotland:

Perfect blend

And as Katrina explained, the Neo produces a wonderful tone which blends perfectly in any section, whilst has the power and projection to sing over the band as a majestic solo instrument.

While retaining the traditional configuration, the YBH-831 includes refinements that are invisible to the eye but make a significant difference in performance.

A John Packer spokesperson told 4BR: "We’re delighted the Neo joins our normal stocks of Besson and Sterling baritone horns."
