After reaching their £60,000 target for their forthcoming tour to the USA, Smithills Schools Senior Band has received a further ‘top up’ with the generous donation of £500 from the Bolton Le Moors Rotary organisation.

The cheque was recently presented to Smithills MD, Chris Wormald by Michael Cull, the Community Service Chairman of the Rotary organisation.

Meanwhile, the band is not quite finished with its fund raising efforts and will be holding a ‘Table Top’ sale next month.
