New composer in residence makes home at Drighlington

Rob Bushell has taken up his new role as composer in residence with Drighlington Band.

Drighlington has announced that Rob Bushnell has accepted the position of Composer in Residence with the Yorkshire Championship Section band.

Graduate

The graduate in music & mathematics from Leeds University has worked with the band for a while, with both parties enjoying the experience.

Great music

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Following a successful period trying out some of his great music, we are delighted Rob has agreed to accept the post.

We are looking forward to this exciting new venture and hoping for a long and fruitful association."
