The Hebden Bridge Band has announced the appointment of Trevor Halliwell as their new Musical Director.

Experience

The highly experienced conductor has enjoyed an extensive top flight playing career having held principal positions with Foden’s, Wingates, Brighouse & Rastrick and James Shepherd Versatile Brass amongst others.

His conducting career has been predominantly in the North West, including several successful spells with a number of bands.

New players

Also joining the band are Amy Smith on principal euphonium, who returns after a spell in Dubai, David Foster on cornet and Jack Pearson on bass trombone. The band are also delighted that Harry Coleman has joined on Bb tuba.
