Uniformity at Centre Stage

The twin arms of the successful Centre Stage business will come under one new company banner.

Centre Stage

Centre Stage Uniforms has announced that due to the growing success of their Centre Stage Percussion business started in 2012, it will now be amalgamated under a new company name to partner the market leading uniforms business.

Perfect sense

Martin Gernon, Managing Director and founder told 4BR: “There are a lot of synergies between the uniforms business and the percussion business, so it made perfect sense to amalgamate the two companies under the same roof.

The existing parent company name will change to The Centre Stage Group Ltd, and both Centre Stage Uniforms and Centre Stage Percussion will be run as two limited companies under the same parent banner.”

Under the new structure, Jon Davies, a founding director of Centre Stage Percussion leaves the business to pursue a new venture.

Swiss link

Martin also revealed that there are also plans to set up a branch office of Centre Stage Group in Switzerland, where the company does sizable business on both percussion and uniforms.

“Switzerland is a large export market for us, but we are missing out on lots of opportunities because of a lack of permanent presence there.

This will be rectified in the coming months with the launch of Centre Stage Switzerland. This will be our second continental European branch, after launching Centre Stage Denmark last year.”

Northern Ireland

In what promises to be another busy year for Centre Stage Group, Martin also announced the appointment of an agent for Northern Ireland to look after the highly active marching band sector.

For all uniform and percussion enquiries please contact martin on 01422 882885, or his mobile 07545 025628.
