Free revisions on Maccabeus

If you want to be the conquering heroes at the Areas this year then Second Section bands better get their hands on a free revised score...

Welsh

4BR has found out that there have been major revisions made to the score for this year’s Second Section Regional Championship test piece, ‘Variations on Maccabeus’ by Kevin Norbury.

Free of charge

The publisher SP&S will make available free of charge to competing bands, revised scores to take into account the adjustments that have had to be made — especially in regard to the differences between the four trombone parts of the Salvation Army score and the three required for the contest performance.

Revised parts

Revised parts have already been made available for first, second, and bass trombone, solo and first horn and solo and second baritone.

Additionally, the revised score has now been produced and is available from SP&S, free of charge.

All adjudicators will be issued with revised scores.
