Boobs and Brass in action

Fresh from their recent Butlins Mineworkers Championship First Section success in Skegness, the Unite the Union Band has announced that it will be starting its 2015 series of popular Sunday evening concerts at its City of Sheffield Band Club.

Kicks off

It all kicks off on Sunday 25th January at 8.00pm at the Niagra Centre in Sheffield, with Boobs & Brass followed by a host of other bands up to and including the 29th March.

Boobs start

A spokesperson told 4BR: “We are very lucky to be opening the new season with the wonderful pink ladies from Boobs & Brass. We hope we can get a good audience to be able to support their great work in raising funds for breast cancer research.”

A spokesperson for the Band Club added: “We do not want this important tradition to wither away, as it is an important platform for our local brass bands, both new and established bands.”
