4BR has been informed that the 2016 North West Regional Brass Band Championships will take place on Sunday 28th February at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
First event
4BR understands that the usual second Sunday of March is not available at the Winter Gardens next year, so the date of the contest has been brought forward to make it the first Area event of 2016.
