The Poulton-le-Fylde Band has announced that it is to link up with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) in an initiative that will sees students working with the north west band.

In a separate musical departure it was also revealed that they will be working with actor William Chambers for their upcoming performances at the Bolsover Entertainment contest in October.

Will is a recent BA Acting graduate from UCLAN and has been seen on the popular ITV soap opera 'Emmerdale', as well as being featured in productions on BBC Radio 3. He is also a member of the National Youth Theatre and various theatre productions.
