The only national brass band competition to be broadcast on terrestrial television is currently taking place at the Welsh National Eisteddfod in Meifod in Powys — with the main pavilion hosting the Fourth, Third and Second Section contests today (Saturday 1st August).

The Championship Section contest takes place on Sunday starting at 12.30pm.
