The new three-year collaboration between the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB) and the arts venue St Martin-in-the-Fields in London will see the award-winning A4 Brass Quartet perform as part of its Friday Lunchtime Recital series (Friday 30th October at 1.00pm).

Lunchtime recitals

Three of its members are NYBBGB alumni, with the concert showcasing their journey from aspiring performers to professional musicians.

Further lunchtime recitals and chamber performances involving NYBBGB alumni will follow during 2027, alongside professional development and shared-learning activity and the return of the NYBBGB Ambassador Ensemble for its annual summer performance.

Shared commitment

A NYBBGB spokesperson told 4BR: "This partnership comes as the NYBBGB prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2027. This new relationship with St Martin-in-the-Fields demonstrates a shared commitment to what can come next for performers in their musical journeys, as well as bringing outstanding brass music to audiences in the heart of London."
