After a couple of years rebuilding back to strength, the Kibworth Band reports that they are looking to the future with confidence following a number of signings and appointment of new MD Dave Holling.

Promotions and signings

Talented youngster Janis Richards comes in on horn, following a deserved promotion from the band's growing youth group, to join Charlotte Yates on cornet and Eb Bass player Jeremy Wood from Corby.

The band has also signed Rob Mason, previously with GUS and Jason Smith, both on euphonium.

Wealth of experience

Band Manager, Dave Bingham told 4BR: "Dave comes to us with a wealth of experience both as a player and conductor, bags of enthusiasm and proven success in the contest field.

We are delighted to welcome him and he has been a real inspiration since he first set foot in the rehearsal room. We are all looking forward to working with him and to a partnership full of future success."
