In the past American, Belgian, English, French, German, Norwegian and Welsh bands have made the trip, whilst the 2016 contenders in the Championship Section already include reigning champion Brass Band Rotterdam Rijnmond and 2015 Dutch European Championship representative De Bazuin Oenkerk.

They will be joined by Amsterdam Brass, Brass Band de Wâldsang, Van der Kreeke Brass Band Limburg and welcome visitors, the Austrian Brass Band.
