Cory launch Elemental CD

World of Brass has launched Cory's latest CD — so make sure you get your hands on a copy as soon as possible...

Elemental

Fresh from their highly successful tour of the United States, the Cory Band has released its latest CD on the World of Brass label.

Elemental

Speaking about 'Elemental', MD Philip Harper told 4BR: "When we based our winning Brass in Concert 2015 programme around the four elements of the universe of fire, air, water and earth I always felt there we could use it as the core of a fantastic CD release.

I believe we've really achieved that with this recording."

Star soloists

In addition to the Brass in Concert programme, 'Elemental' features seven of Cory's star soloists including debut solo features from Ailsa Russell and Glyn Williams alongside stunning showcases from Steve Stewart, Helen Williams, Tom Hutchinson, Steve Kane and Chris Thomas.

The album also features fantastic works from the pens of Franz Von Suppe, Jan van der Roost, Alexander Comitas and more.

Amazing form

Philip added: "The CD was recorded just weeks after winning the National Championship and Brass in Concert titles. As a result the band is on amazing form throughout, so I think people will enjoy what 'Elemental' has to offer."
