Skelmanthorpe prepare for Battle with new signings

Skelmanthorpe Band has announced two new signings as they look forward to their Senior Cup challenge.

Skelmanthorpe Band has strengthened the ranks with the signings of David Murray on solo trombone and Sarah Musgreave coming in on assistant principal cornet.

David joins having previously played with Becontree Band, Aveley & Newham and Harrogate Bands, whilst Sarah, a former player of Skelmanthorpe, rejoins from Marsden Band.

They should be invaluable for our performance of 'Music for Battle Creek' in the Senior Cup at Blackpool in May and for our future aimsSkelmanthorpe Band
