A musical sip of bourbon is on the cards at the Great American Brass Band Festival in Kentucky next month.

The 27th Great American Brass Band Festival will take place in the heart of Bourbon country in Kentucky next month.

Bourbon

Attractions (from the 2nd-5th June) include soloists such as Gabriel DiMartino, Wycliffe Gordon and Philip Smith, alongside 'Bourbon & Brass Tours', 'Brassanova' Brazilian music, Great American Picnics, Run for the Brass, Yoga in the Park, Great American Art, Kids Art Fest, Great American Quilt Show, Bayou & Brass and a host of fantastic bands

These include the likes of 202nd Army Band, Advocate Brass Band, Capital City Community Band, Central Kentucky Concert Band, Ceremonial Band of the Waterloo Regional Police Service, Chapel Brass of The Salvation Army, Circle City Sidewalk Stompers, Madison Community Band, Most Wanted Brass Band, North Carolina Brass Band, The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass amongst others.

There is also the brilliantly named UGA Bulldog Brass, UK Trombone Choir, UK Trumpet Choir, US Army Band 'Pershing's Own', Walnut Street Ramblers and the Wildcat Regiment4BR
