The Sshhmutes is endorsed by top stars such as Black Dyke principal cornet Richard Marshall.

The world beating Sshhmutes are gaining new converts in the world of brass banding.

Impressive list

Only a few weeks after Black Dyke solo horn star Siobhan Bates added her name to an already impressive list of endorsees, Richard Marshall, one of the banding world's finest cornet virtuosos has now become the latest endorsee of Sshhmutes practice mutes.

He told 4BR: "For me, the Sshhmute provides excellent intonation and good focused tone quality, and when I require to use it, I know I can achieve my performance potential. Together with its lightweight design, the Sshhmute has definitely fund a home in my gig bag."

Lightweight and excellent tuning

With Sshhmutes making such an impression on the stars of the banding world, no wonder it is also ideal for players at all levels as their light weight, excellent tuning and resistance mimics normal playing.

Siobhan Bates agrees: "I found that the Sshhmute for tenor horn delivers a good tone throughout the range. It responds to all dynamics, which I feel are important. It has become an essential part of my practice routine."
