Eikanger take flight in Bergen ahead of Ostend Euro trip

Norwegian National Champion Eikanger Bjorsvik will showcase their European preparation ahead of their trip to Ostend.

  Eikanger Bjorsvik will showcase their European works in their home city ahead of their Ostend assault.

Norwegian National champion Eikanger-Bjørsvik will be previewing the works that they hope will lead them to being crowned 2017 European champion in Ostend next weekend.

Led by MD Ingar Bergby, they will showcase 'Where Angels Fly' by Kevin Houben, plus their own-choice selection at the HÃ¥konshallen (King HÃ¥kon's Hall) in Bergen on Monday evening.

Youth feature

Along with the band, the concert will also feature Norway's two participants in the European Youth Championships on the same weekend, with Development Section representatives and defending champions Tertnes Skoles Musikkorps under MD, Jan Egil Jørgensen, and Manger Skulemusikklag, conducted by Thorgeir Thunestvedt.

The concert will be presented by Stein Skorpholm.
