Jack Archibald, Hannah Archibald, Anna Biggart, Euan Court, Finlay Damer and Tilly Trickey represented the Percussion Academy, Bronze, Intermediate and Silver Band ensembles, with Euan and Anna as section principals for the basses and trombones respectively.

Meanwhile, Finlay was part of the 'Best Section' (percussion) within the Children's Band and Euan was one of three young players automatically promoted to the Senior Band for 2018.

Thrilled

Band President Alan Court told 4BR: "We were thrilled at our uptake for this year's NYBBS course, and we are indebted to the Loaningdale Trust for their financial support.

We are delighted with the progress of our youngsters and look forward to supporting them further as they continue their musical education.''
