Christmas charity helped by Camberley & District

The players of Camberley & District Silver Band have made sure local charities have benefited from their carol playing this year.

The community ethos of Camberley & District Silver Band has seen them raise £820 towards local charities by Christmas carol playing throughout Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire this month.

Carol visits

Formed in 1960 the band regularly plays in the community as well as occasional contests, and is led by MD Chris Alexander.

This year their carol visits in Aldershot, Fleet and Camberley raised the money for their nominated charity, Frimley Park Hospital's Charitable Fund.
