Black Dyke's principal cornet player Richard Marshall will be hosting his popular 'Cornet Spotlight' on Sunday 3rd June at the Black Dyke Festival at Leeds Town Hall, and hopes to once again meet up with old and new cornet playing friends.

He told 4BR: "This is one of the most enjoyable days in my calendar. Over the years I have had between 60 and 80 players attend and hopefully this year won't be any different.
It's lovely to meet up with players year after year to find out how they are getting on and to see how I can help, whilst it's great to welcome new friends too."
