Sterling stars set to help Waterbeach 40th celebrations

Sterling Musical Instruments stars Glyn and Helen Williams, Sarah Lenton, Luke Pallister, Rachel Neil and Andrew Kershaw will help Waterbeach Brass celebrate its 40th anniversary in June.

The Sterling stable of soloists will be featured in a special concert to mark the occasion on 23rd June (7.30pm) with the band also provided wonderful, family orientated music — from Tchaikovsky to Holst.

Richard Dean, Chairman of Waterbeach Brass told 4BR: "We are delighted to be celebrating our 40th anniversary and have a fantastic evening planned to mark the milestone.

We have been rehearsing hard and hope the local community will come along to support us.

He added: "Special thanks go to Paul Riggett from Sterling Musical Instruments for his support for this celebration and also to Urban & Civic for their continued support of Waterbeach Brass."

January 11 • We are a friendly, inclusive and hard-working brass band, welcoming players of all ages and abilities. We are particularly keen to fill our Soprano Cornet, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Euphonium and EEb Bass positions.


Putney and Wimbledon Brass Band
