Scottish champion Whitburn will hold a special British Open rehearsal ahead of their challenge for the famous Gold Shield at Symphony Hall next month.

Last year's runner-up will once again be conducted by Florent Didier, and will showcase their work on the test-piece 'A Brussels Requiem' by Bert Appermont.

The event will be held at Whitburn Band Hall in the West Lothian town's Murraysgate on Wednesday, September 5th at 7.30pm.
