Kippax lead Area run-out

Three bands will join Kippax for an evening of Area test-piece run-outs on Sunday — so why not go along and enjoy the music?

The Kippax Band will be hosting an 'Area run-out' event this weekend.

It all takes place on Sunday 17th February at their social club headquarters in Mount Pleasant in Kippax (LS25 7AT).

Taking part

Taking part are the Harrogate Band, Knottingley Silver, Garforth Brass and hosts Kippax fresh from their success at the recent Peterlee contest in Durham earlier this month.

The hugely experienced adjudicator Derek Broadbent will be listening to the various performances and giving feedback to the bands ahead of their various Area challenges.

The doors open at 7.00pm and the first band will perform at 8.00pm.
