World Rankings — February update

There's some significant moves in the rankings table prior to the forthcoming round of Regional Championships with Eikanger-Bjørsvik securing a top 4 spot following their impressive recent victory in the Norwegian Nationals.

The latest Band Supplies — 4barsrest.com Rankings see a number of changes near the top following the opening salvos in the 2019 contest season.

The most notable victory was that of Eikanger-Bjørsvik in retaining its Norwegian Championship title and securing a place at the 2020 European Championships in Palanga.

The other contests taking place since the last update were:

Brass at the Guild — won by City of Bradford
Durham County BBA — won by North Skelton
Welsh Open — won by Filton Concert Brass.

As ever there are plenty of points up for grabs as regional fever takes over the UK in the next four weekends, so lookout for a few movers and shakers in the next update at the end of March!
