Kapitol support for National Champions

The popular Foden's Solo & Ensemble competition has gained new support from Brass Band World magazine and Kapitol Promotions.

Brass Band World magazine and Kapitol Promotions Ltd have linked up with Foden's Band to support the National Champion's successful annual Solo & Ensemble Competition.

Keen to support

Speaking about the support, Philip Morris of Kapitol Promotions told 4BR: "Besson has supported the competition for many years, and now we are delighted to do so.

We are keen to help Foden's encourage the next generation of players as well as their educational outreach work. We're delighted to help this competition, which will help to inspire the youngsters who take part in the various Area championships and National Finals in Cheltenham and London."

Established

Foden's competition organiser Andy Rolfe, added: "We're delighted to secure this invaluable support from such respected brass band companies.

The event has become an established part of the banding calendar but we are continually developing its appeal."

Now in its ninth year, the event, which attracts competitors from the UK and abroad, will once again be held at Sandbach School on the 2nd November.
