Wychavon Festival announces different draws

A great Gala Concert and a full day of contesting are the great draws for the bands and audiences at the 30th anniversary Wychavon Festival of Brass next month.

  The Wychavon Festival of Brass celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

The Wychavon Festival of Brass Entertainment Contest has announced the draws in each of the sections for competition that take place at the De Montfort School in Evesham on Saturday 2nd November.

The festival weekend will start on Friday 1st November with free Gala Concert (7.00pm) at the same venue, featuring European Challenge Section champion, Brass Band Regensburg, Manger Old Stars from Norway and local favourites Avonbank and Bretforton.

Wychavon Sketches

The following day there will be 70 performances to enjoy, whilst the facilities also include a pig-roast, bar and trade stands with a fireworks display accompanied by excerpts from a brand new work, 'Wychavon Sketches' by composer Dan Price celebrating 30 years of the event.
