The popular Holme Valley Brass Contest will take place on Sunday 26th April at Holmfirth Civic Hall.

The event will comprise four sections with the closing date for entrants of Monday 16th March. The draw will take place on March 26th.

Sections

Section A will comprise Championship and First Section bands who will battle for the £500 first prize and Groom Cup.

Section B is for Second and Third Section bands who will look to claim the £400 first prize and Beever Shield

Section C is for Fourth and Unregistered bands with the Youth Section for Youth and Training bands who will play a 15 minute programme of music.
