A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Alice is a very talented young player from Northop village and is also a member of the Junior RNCM, National Youth Brass Band and National Youth Orchestra of Wales.

We would like to thank Gareth Skillander for stepping in and covering on Eb tuba during 2019, and also John Williams for moving onto Bb tuba to complete the section with Andy Pritchard.

Our thanks also go to cornet player John Hughes for his long and loyal service to the band."
