The TCTC Group Band has welcomed back the experienced Jon Gibbs after a 17 year absence.

Principals

Jon takes on the soprano role for their top flight North West Area challenge at the Winter Gardens, enabling Tony Brookes to fill the repiano seat.

Both are past principal cornet players of the band and join former principal cornet in Mike Jones (now on flugel) with end chair performer Sarah Sparkes.

Great players

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Many bands would be grateful to have any one of these great players in their ranks. We are privileged to have all four past and present players with us for our Area challenge."
