You'll Never Walk Alone...

Belgian champion Brass Band Willebroek pays a musical tribute to health and care workers all over the banding world...

Brass Band Willebroek has paid its tribute to health and care workers

Belgian champion Brass Band Willebroek has also come up with their own way of ensuring that MD Frans Violet and the players keep in musical, if not social distance contact with each other during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Past, present, future

Perhaps inspired by the lead taken by the world's number 1 ranked band Cory, the former World and European champion, and winner of the Belgian National title on 22 occasions, proudly states that it has been 'victorious in the past, successful in the present and ready for the future'.

And the band has certainly embraced future technology with their social media performance of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' which has been dedicated to all health care workers and essential worker heroes around the banding world.

This version of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is for all health care workers and other heroes around the worldBrass Band Willebroek

Health and care workers

Band spokesperson Simon Van den Ede told 4BR: "Our musicians are staying home. Unfortunately we see many of our concerts and rehearsals being cancelled due to COVID-19, but we can still rehearse and perform through this way!

We hope everyone is safe — and that is way more important at this moment. This version of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is for all health care workers and other heroes around the world — and also was a great way for the band to get together."
