The instrument silver plate BE982 forms part of the 980/981/982 trident of instruments that are made without compromise to meet the player's needs.

The 980 is the smaller bell model, whilst the 981 is the classic 17 inch bell model with John Fletcher leadpipe.

Brighter tonality

The 982 is designed with a higher position mouthpiece leadpipe which is slightly narrower to create a brighter tonality — ideal for marching bands and players who wish to create a lead instrument sound.

The 17.51mm bore construction and design is superb — bottom sprung valves, delrin valve guides and spring dampners , nickel silver inner slides. 19"bell is rolled and soldered over brass wire.
